Situated on the tiny paradise island of Lankayan, this idyllic resort offers perfectly appointed seafront chalets with direct access to the beach.
Part of a Marine Protected Area in the Sulu Sea, Lankayan Island is considered to be Sabah’s best diving area, and enjoys stretches of white sand beach, swaying casuarina pines and beautiful sunsets.
The most famous residents on the island are green and hawksbill turtles who nest here annually (Jun-Sep). Transfer from the mainland is from Sandakan offering the opportunity to visit the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary.
Please note the UK foreign office advice currently relating to this region. Please speak to our dive team for further advice and information.

The larger marine creatures such as leopard shark, stingray and giant grouper have returned to the surrounding reefs. The corals are in excellent condition and house a fantastic variety of macro marine life and a muck diving arena that rivals both Mabul and Kapalai Island. Regular sightings of whale sharks occur Mar-May, and among the 40 dive sites is the ‘Lankayan Wreck’, host to a variety of fish species from small glassfish, harlequin ghost pipe fish and painted frogfish to giant grouper.
