The Cortez Club dive centre is located at La Concha Beach Resort, La Paz, and operates a comprehensive range of diving courses and water sports activities throughout the year. The 5-star PADI Instructor Development Centre (IDC) also caters for technical divers and is both CCR and SCR friendly. Pick up/drop off on diving days is offered at all our preferred accommodations.
The 12 boats operate daily from the private jetty to a number of local dive sites including those around Espiritu Santo Island. Underwater highlights include the colony of brown Californian sea lions at Los Islotes and the schooling hammerheads at El Bajo. Diving is available year round and snorkellers are welcome. It’s possible to book additional dives and whale shark snorkelling encounters in season. Water temperature ranges from 21-25C and visibility from 10-30 metres. Nitrox is available.
