Aiyanar Dive Centre
The on-site dive centre caters for divers of all abilities offering PADI dive courses and daily boat diving to local sites, Verde Island and Puerto Galera. Photographers are well catered for. Facilities include a spacious air-conditioned camera room with 18 individual counters complete with air hose. The custom designed 12 metre long outriggers comfortably accommodate eight divers and all camera equipment, accompanied by two experienced guides. Each diver has their own locker and a full range of equipment is available to rent. Nitrox (up to 40%) is complimentary for suitably qualified divers.
Whilst diving highlights are centred on the prolific macro life found here, the topography of the sites are varied including reefs, sandy slopes and caves. There are sites on piers which are also suited to snorkellers. Sharks, rays and schools of larger fish are often observed on the deeper reefs such as Mainit Point and Twin Rocks. Divers and photographers seeking out amazing critters will enjoy spending time at Cathedral Rock and Secret Bay. Expect plenty of nudibranch, frogfish and rhinopia.
The diversity of marine life plus the variety of subjects and seascapes are just a few reasons why divers return time and time again to this special area, not to mention the incredible hospitality.
