The week long liveaboard trip includes time at Tiger Beach and plenty of exciting shark encounters. On non-shark diving days, there are plenty of dive sites off the west end including wrecks, reefs and walls as well as plenty of wild dolphins to hopefully interact with.
The boat departs from Old Bahama Bay Resort, an all-suite beachfront resort located on the west end of Grand Bahama, an island which offers you the chance to combine a world-class resort with the charm of historic fishing villages and undiscovered ecological treasures. With plenty of facilities and a yacht club on-site, the resort caters for everyone. It’s only 55 miles east of Palm Beach in Florida and it’s in this stretch of water that thrill seekers head to Tiger Bay for shark encounters.
This trip is operated exclusively by liveaboard in season. Join us on for a unique extended 10 night adventure which includes time exploring the sites of Bimini with its colourful walls, marine life and wrecks.
You will be met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation for an overnight stay.
Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Grand Bahama. Make way to liveaboard, moored at Old Bahama Bay.
Board the Bahamas Aggressor for an exclusive week long adventure. The safari includes time at Tiger Beach as well as local dive sites.
Your diving adventure begins this morning from the Bahamas Aggressor as you discover the dive sites off the west end of Grand Bahama. Here you'll dive walls, encounter lemon, nurse and Caribbean reef sharks as well as the chance to explore the local wrecks.
At least one afternoon during the week will be spent at the shallow dive site, Tiger Beach, where divers will be mesmerised at the close encounters with tiger sharks, amongst other species. Have your camera ready!
You should note that although tiger sharks frequent the area, the boat will try to attract sharks using a "scent triangle" filled with bait.
Disembark from the boat in the morning and make way back to the airport for a domestic flight back to Nassau, followed by the internation flight back to the UK, landing the following day.
Alternatively, extend your stay in the Bahamas at Bimini Big Game Club or other resorts for even more shark action!
