Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula is home to a unique variety of snorkelling and adventure sites - with rich Caribbean reefs, the crystal clear caves and magnificent rock formations of the Cenotes, and ancient ruins.
The magnificent geological features of the Cenotes have made them world-famous and much sought after by those looking for adventure. Off the shore of Yucatan you can also snorkel the reefs that are bursting with colour and life. The warm Caribbean waters and the stunning beaches make this a great location, providing a wide variety of different experiences.
Back on land, the adventure doesn’t have to stop either! Head inland and enjoy the Mesoamerican ruins of the Mayan civilisation.
Between June and September each year, whale sharks are known to gather in large numbers around nearby islands and snorkelling day trips can be arranged at additional cost.
