Discover the stunning Northern Musandam Peninsula, where the Hajar Mountains create fjord-like scenery known as the "Norway of Arabia". As a liveaboard guest, you have special access to remote and pristine dive sites. Visibility ranges from 10 metres in the low season (June-September) to 30 metres in peak season (October to May), revealing a wide variety of marine creatures.
Look for schools of jackfish and fusiliers swimming around colourful coral gardens, and spot moray eels and octopus hiding in the rocks. You might also encounter turtles, eagle rays, and leopard and blacktip sharks. With a liveaboard, you’re always close to your next underwater adventure, whether exploring hidden caverns or drifting along coral reefs.
Given the region's strong currents, Musandam is best suited for advanced divers, and drift dives are a common experience. These currents carry you along coral reef walls teeming with life. Water temperatures typically range from 22°C to 30°C, offering a comfortable diving environment year-round. The best season to dive is from October to May, when visibility peaks and the waters are calm. For winter and early spring diving, a 5mm wetsuit is recommended, while a 3mm wetsuit is sufficient in the warmer summer months.
The trip includes flights, transfers, 7-nights aboard a liveaboard like The Vision, and five days of thrilling diving around Musandam, featuring reefs, wrecks, drifts, and night dives.

Day 1:
Depart the UK
Your trip starts with a flight from the UK to Dubai. You can fly direct or choose to stopover if you prefer to break up the journey.

Day 2:
Board the Musandam Liveaboard in Dibba
Upon arrival in Dubai, you’re greeted by a liveaboard rep and transferred to Musandam. Transfers take about two hours, including a border crossing. On arrival in Dibba harbour, check in aboard the Vision liveaboard.

Musandam Liveaboard Adventure
Your scuba adventure in the Gulf of Oman and Musandam starts today. As you sail north, you may visit some of the top dive sites along the western Musandam Peninsula. The Strait of Hormuz is known for its beautiful underwater scenery and rich marine life, and it’s still far from mass tourism.
Dive sites like Lima Rock, Ras Musandam, Ras Khayser, Shab Shams, and Octopus Rock give you great chances to see many kinds of marine life. You might spot rays, barracuda, groupers, turtles, and even leopard sharks, making each dive memorable.

Departure
After your last breakfast on board, you check out and head back to Dubai for your flight home to the UK. Or, you can extend your trip and discover more amazing places in
Oman.
