This itinerary offers you the chance to encounter large schools of mobula in the Azores as well as enjoying the unique seascape and diving experience around the central islands of Pico, Faial and São Jorge.
Pico, the ‘Grey Island’ gets its name from the dominant Pico Volcano, the highest point in the Azores and plenty of adventure is to be had topside, but it’s the underwater seascapes and marine life that attracts divers to this central island of the Azores archipelago.
Spend the week exploring the local dive sites, a labyrinth of arches, caves and caverns. Diving around Pico is still relatively untouched, ensuring you a diving experience that not many have had.
