The area is famous whale shark encounters as they migrate through the channel annually from January to April on their way to Belize. From the largest fish in the sea to the smallest critters, there are plenty of subjects here for underwater photographers. What's more, it is not uncommon to encounter eagle and manta rays, as well as dolphins, during your week of diving.
