MY Red Sea Explorer

The MY Red Sea Explorer is a unique liveaboard offering divers a luxurious experience both on board and at the very best diving sites in the Red Sea. She operates week long itineraries in the north and south throughout the year.

This 5-star, steel-hulled, floating hotel sets the standard for best in-class luxury liveaboards in the Red Sea, offering experienced and discerning divers an experience like no other. At 43 metres in length, there is ample space for 24 guests in the 12 cabins. Choose from superior lower (twin bed), upper deck (twin or double bed) or master (twin or double bed) cabins or the unique royal suite with its private terrace and 170° panoramic views. All feature air-conditioning, private shower room, large windows, a safe and mini fridge. The lower deck and master cabins are furnished with a sofa and table. Towels and bathrobes are provided. The boat is designed to afford guests with maximum space, comfort quality and safety as she cruises the top dive spots of the Egyptian Red Sea.

She features a stylish, modern lounge, bar and dining area with entertainment facilities and superb views over the Red Sea, plus four sun decks with partial shading, sun loungers and ample seating. Speciality coffees, canned soft drinks, beer and wine are available for a local charge. Complimentary WiFi internet access is offered when in range. The dive deck is equally generous and designed from years of experience catering to divers’ needs, with plentiful storage space for equipment, fresh water rinse tanks and showers, plus a camera table.

Departing on a Thursday from either Hurghada or Port Ghalib, a variety of seven night itineraries are offered to the popular diving hotspots. Explore the famous wrecks and reefs in the north, dive the spectacular drop-offs in the south and look out for incredible pelagic encounters at the sites in the marine parks. Up to four dives per day are offered (2-3 on your first and last day) from either the mother ship or the accompanying RIBs, taking divers to the best of the action. Both INT and DIN 12 litre tanks are used, with 15 litre tanks available on request for an additional charge. The vessel also features the ENOS safety system, available for all divers.

A minimum dive experience of 50 dives is required to join this liveaboard. Dive computers and an SMB are mandatory. Nitrox is complimentary for certified divers.
