Built by indigenous craftsmen using ancient traditional methods, this 52 metre luxury phinisi liveaboard is home to an experienced crew, passionate about diving Indonesian waters.
The Amira offers a premium diving experience on a boat built for divers by divers. She is equipped with a state of the art navigation system, security and rescue equipment and technology. The Amira (Princess) has nine comfortable double cabins, four on the upper deck and five on the lower deck. There are two single cabins on the lower deck. They are all equipped with air-conditioning, private bathrooms and natural lighting. There is a cosy restaurant and lounge area with a huge sun deck and a computer room where you can edit your images as you go. Starlink interest access is available at additional cost.
A typical day consists of up to four dives. Diving is from one of three purpose built tenders and there are sea kayaks on board for guests to go exploring remote beaches and coral reefs. The dive deck is covered and spacious, with several rinse tanks and a camera room. Nitrox (32%) is free of charge for qualified divers.
The Amira operates 10-12 night trips throughout Indonesia year round. She sails the hotspots of Komodo National Park (May, Jul, Aug) and Raja Ampat (Nov-Feb) in season and then heads to the remote areas of Misool, Triton Bay, Banda Sea and over to Sulawesi via northern Maluku. In between these famous locations there's diversity and unique itineraries available such as Jewels of Indonesia, Forgotten Islands.
Please note that the boat goes into dry dock annually in June and July.
