The Duyung Baru is a 27 metre long two-masted traditional Indonesian Phinisi plying the waters of Komodo National Park. Accommodating just eight divers, this vessel makes your liveaboard experience personal.

With so few divers, the vessel feels comfortable, spacious, and peaceful, and that experience is repeated underwater as you dive with fewer buddies, too.

The Duyung Baru explores Komodo National Park’s undisputed rich diversity. The swirl of life encompasses everything from manta rays and sharks to pygmy seahorses. Above water, the beauty is picture postcard perfect. And don’t forget the dragons!

Quality teak has been crafted throughout the vessel, and the interior feels as rich as the lines from the outside. The luxurious feel flows through from the shared areas to the richly appointed cabins. Cabins are ensuite and furnished with superbly comfortable mattresses and feature individual climate control. The top deck affords a panoramic view with shaded loungers and comfy bean bags. It’s the ideal place to wait for the sun to sink before night diving.

Diving is conducted from two tender boats, allowing the Duyang Baru to stay on its mooring. Food will be served upon your return from diving, and the crew will delight in providing tasty meals.

The vessel is also ideal if you have a group of dive buddies to get together, as it’s a great way to have a genuinely private experience for a small group.
