The Vanila Hotel offers the comforts of a three star hotel in the heart of the tropics, with magnificent views of the sea, or the hotel's tropical gardens.
Each bedroom is air-conditioned with TV, phone, safe and mini-bar and each opens onto a terrace. A refreshing swimming pool overlooks the sea, as do the restaurant and the bar.
An Aqualung Partner, Madaplouf Diving offers daily boat diving and both CMAS and PADI courses delivered by the multilingual staff. The small dive centre is located on the beach a short walk from the Vanila Hotel. Accommodating eight divers, the boat heads out each morning to the local sites for two dives. Expect dolphin encounters, turtles rays, eels, reef sharks, as well as whales and whale sharks in season. The dive sites are varied with plenty of life on the reef, walls and wrecks. Visibility ranges from 5-30m and the average water temperature is 26C. Visit from April to December for the best diving experience.
