Underworld Tulum Dive Centre
Underworld Tulum is a BSAC dive centre and daily diving is available in the ocean, in the caverns of the Cenotes and to spectacular caves for recreational and technical divers. All dives are guided with a maximum of three divers to every guide. From novice through to instructor, a comprehensive range of training is available with multiple agencies (PADI, TDI, RAID and IANTD) and snorkellers are also welcome.
Underwater highlights include encounters with turtles and bull sharks (seasonal) found along the Mesoamerican reef, stunning and unique underwater landscapes in the Cenotes and for those suitably qualified, an incredible wealth of long, shallow and well decorated caves.
Expect a warm and friendly welcome from the British hosts who are enthusiastic about operating their dive centre in such close proximity to most of the world’s biggest underwater cave systems, their speciality.
Suitable for groups, it’s possible to create your own outstanding dive holiday to include a mix of cavern, ocean and cave diving with courses where required. A two week stay is recommended.
Cave enthusiasts may want to sign up for the annual ‘Cave Camp’ which includes training for beginners and advanced divers, socials, workshops and presentations.
The centre supports sidemount and twin set diving and offers technical, DPV and CCR training. Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
