With a quiet location to the north of Sharm el Sheikh, Sharks Bay Umbi Village is a self-contained sanctuary away from the crowds, with everything a diver needs on-site.
Built in an authentic, Bedouin style on the shores of the Red Sea, Sharks Bay Umbi Village offers two type of rooms. 36 spacious Bedouin village rooms are built into the hillside, offering fantastic views. Many, but not all, have balconies to enjoy. All have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, mini-fridges, television and telephone. For those looking to be as close to the sea as possible, 18 wooden beach cabins are also available just a few steps from the beach. All have small private bathrooms, air-conditioning and mini fridges.
The village also features a private beach, jetty and on-site restaurant, plus a beach bar and Bedouin tent to help you unwind.
Sharks Bay Umbi Village Dive Centre
In keeping with the self-contained ethos of the resort, Sharks Bay Umbi Village has an excellent on-site PADI 5-star dive centre, a house reef for training and shore dives, and a private jetty for boat diving trips.
Standard diving packages include two dives per day, with the dive centre ideally located to enjoy not only the excellent local dives, but also the exceptional dive sites of the Tiran Strait and Ras Mohamed National Park.
In addition to fun diving, Sharks Bay is an ideal base for learning to dive or continuing your diving education. Mini safari trips are also offered. Please ask for details. Nitrox is available.
