Located on an idyllic tropical island, surrounded by pristine reefs and exotic wildlife, Papua Paradise Eco Resort is a haven for naturalists and divers looking for an exceptional experience.

The resort features 28 traditionally-built overwater bungalows, cooled by natural ventilation, featuring a semi-closed private bathroom, personal safe, and hair dryer. The Superior Bungalows are spacious and built with traditional materials, furnished with a hammock on the verandah overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The elegant and spacious Deluxe Bungalow maintain a traditional charm, feature a four-poster bed and offer panoramic views from the verandah which has both a day and sun beds.  The Premier Bungalows are the only rooms with air-conditioning and are the largest of the overwater bungalows. They come complete with bath with ocean views and double vanity, these gorgeous bungalows provide the ultimate blend of natural scenery and comfort. Some bungalows can facilitate twin beds. Please note, there's no direct access to the water from the rooms.

Facilities include an ocean view restaurant serving local and international dishes with buffet style dining, a spa offering an array of treatments and on-site dive centre. Internet access is available via satellite WiFi connection in the dive centre lounge for a local charge. Soft drinks and local beers are available, but it is recommended to purchase duty-free goods if you have any other preferences.

Activities available at the resort include snorkelling, scuba diving, local bird watching. Additional trips operate to look for Wilson’s bird of paradise, full day snorkelling excursions to the Fam Islands, village tours and island discovery trips to the Mushroom Islands, The Passage and Hidden Bay.

It’s possible to visit year round and discover the biodiversity of Raja Ampat. Transfer from Sorong is by speed boat and takes approximately two hours by boat after the short transfer from the airport.

Gangga Divers

The professionally run on-site PADI 5-star resort offers up to four daily boat dives and variety of courses. The maximum diver to guide ration here is four divers to one guide, offering excellent customer service from the experienced local crew.

The dive centre operates ten custom-made fiberglass boats designed for safe and comfortable diving for up to 12 divers. Fresh towels, drinking water, snacks and rinse tanks are available on board. There are equipment crates, washing and drying facilities, camera room and a secure storage area for your kit. Tanks with both INT and DIN valves are available as 8, 12 and 15 litre sizes. Aqua Lung equipment rental is available to rent. Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.

Divers and snorkellers visiting here can expect a truly magnificent marine biodiversity. Located at the epicentre of the Coral Triangle, 75% of all the world’s corals are found here and with well over 1300 fish species recorded, there’s plenty to see. Expect mandarin fish, manta rays, sharks and dugong on the house reef alone!

The average water temperature is 29C and visibility ranges from 10-20 metres.
