Located on the seafront, this 3-star property features 100 one and two bedroom individual bungalows with ocean and island views. All feature air conditioning and en suite bathrooms, twin beds, flat screen satellite TV, fridge, kettle, hairdryer and a safe, as well as a furnished living room and terrace. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available throughout.
Facilities include two swimming pools and a buffet service restaurant where daily morning and afternoon snacks are provided. A registered SSI Instructor Training Facility, Rubicon offers a comprehensive range of courses, from novice right through to instructor level (recreation and technical). The centre offers ample storage for those with kit, a shop and multimedia classrooms for training. In addition, personalised photographic and video services are available from the resident pro.
Professionally skippered, the three modern, fully equipped RIBs head out to the 30+ dive sites each morning for two dives, depending on the dive sites the boat may return to the marina after each. A third dive is offered in the afternoon for those who can’t get enough, and there is a guaranteed trip to the unique dive site of Museo Atlantic each day. Enjoy the fascinating volcanic landscapes and abundance of sea life at sites such as Flamingo Wall and Twin Pipes, and wrecks to explore. All dives are guided. The centre is rebreather friendly and Nitrox is available at supplement cost.
The average water temperature ranges from 18C in winter to 25C in summer. With visibility between 20-30 metres, diving in Lanzarote is a year round activity for all.
