Surrounded by lush rainforest, the remote Koro Sun Resort sits on the shores of the Koro Sea where some of Fiji’s best adventure and diving experiences await.
Just 15 minutes from Savusavu, this perfectly located luxurious retreat offers the genuine warmth and friendliness of the Fijian people. Set on the edge of a stunning private lagoon, the 51 enchanting bures and deluxe villas are built amongst a coconut plantation and tropical flora, on the water’s edge and, uniquely, floating on the water in the protected lagoon. They are all individually appointed, offering privacy, plenty of space and amenities such as air-conditioning and WiFi. To many, the remote setting and sanctuary of the resort is said to define paradise.
The accommodation is split into three distinct areas in the 64 hectare sanctuary; Edgewater Lagoon, Botanical Rooms, and Rainforest Villas. Sections of the Edgewater Lagoon are adult only, including the Edgewater Bure which features traditional Fijian thatched roofing and spacious private terrace area elevated above the lagoon. The Floating Bures are designed with native “Dogo” wood accents and have a touch of nautical style, each provides direct access to the lagoon. Within the Botanic Rooms is the Garden Bure, set in lush tropical flora with king-sized bed and stone shower, these provide a peaceful stay. For families, there are two and three-bedroom bures available in each area, some even come with private gardens and splash pools perfect for little ones to play in.
Facilities include the Palm Grove Restaurant where three meals a day are served, the Levu Bar is adjoining and offers a full bar menu with fresh tropical cocktails in addition to local and international beverages.
