Accommodation at the resort includes six rustically designed bungalows and a distinctive Beach House, all positioned along the water’s edge. Constructed using traditional materials while incorporating simple amenities, each accommodation option features sea views and private verandahs that allow visitors to fully appreciate the surrounding scenery. Fatboys Dive Centre, located on-site at Fatboys Resort, is a certified SSI training facility offering a wide range of scuba diving experiences for both beginners and experienced divers.
The dive centre operates from fully equipped dive boats and provides access to warm tropical waters, with visibility often exceeding 20 metres. These conditions create an ideal setting for exploring the region’s vibrant marine ecosystems and famous underwater attractions. Divers can visit a variety of remarkable sites, including One Tree Reef, Secret Spot Reef, Grand Central Reef, Kennedy Island and Joe’s Wall Reef. Marine life commonly seen includes turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks, barracuda, tuna, cuttlefish, seahorses and colourful coral formations.
Equipment is available to rent and full SSI training is available, along with continuing education courses for certified divers, all conducted in a fully equipped training room. Fatboys also offers freediving and snorkelling experiences, allowing guests to discover the beauty beneath the surface.
