Buceo Anilao Dive Centre
Buceo Anilao Beach & Dive Resort has its own in-house, PADI affiliated, dive centre with an experienced team. Diving is conducted from traditional Filipino bangkas, painted brightly in yellow to match the resort. Each one has a capacity of ten divers, however group size is normally limited to six per dive master, if not smaller. The crew will access over 50 dive sites, covering a range of interests. The draw for many is the muck and macro diving the area is famed for. Divers can see blue-ringed octopus, mandarin fish, blue ribbon eels, and more than 600 types of nudibranch!
Blackwater and bonfire diving is also available, plus full day trips to nearby Verde Island for brightly coloured corals, turtles and reef fish. There's plenty of marine variety for all types of diver.
A jewel in Buceo Anilao dive centre’s crown is the camera room. The air-conditioned area has 18 spacious work stations, each with its own matted desk, shelf, outlet, lockable cupboard, air gun and lights. There's a matted centre table for when spreading out is required. Throughout the year underwater photography pros set up residences at the dive centre and will conduct photography courses and workshops, contact us for information on dates.
Dive equipment is securely stored at the dive centre, each diver has their own dedicated space. Equipment is available to rent alongside 15L tanks. Nitrox is available at extra cost. There's a supplement for selected dives including blackwater, bonfire, and Verde Island, and the Sanctuary Dive Fee is payable locally.
