Located on-site at the Barcelo Mussanah Resort, SeaOman is a PADI 5-star dive centre offering daily boat diving to the local area including the Daymaniyat Islands. A comprehensive range of courses are offered by the local Omani team. Divers with accessibility needs are catered for here.
Diving highlights include the protected nature reserve of the Daymaniyat Islands, a 45-minute boat ride away. The nine islands offer shallow reefs, drop-offs and walls to explore. Here you can expect to see nudibranch, three species of turtle, a myriad of subtropical fish, moray eels, rays, leopard, black-tip and lemon sharks. Plus, whale sharks are seasonal visitors to this beautiful archipelago.
Diving is a year round experience, with the best visibility usually from May to July (max 20 metres). The average water temperature is 28°C in the summer and 23°C in the winter months. Both Aqua Lung and Cressi equipment is available to rent. Nitrox is available.
The centre also operates snorkelling trips and sailing adventures, plus the opportunity to complete RYA courses.
