Anthony's Key Resort is a family run luxury property tucked away on the beautiful island of Roatan. It offers breathtaking views over the lagoon and is suitable for snorkellers and divers of all abilities.
The 56 wooden cabanas are nestled in lush foliage (Hillside rooms, six standard and four superior) or perched on stilts over the water (Key rooms, 18 superior and 28 deluxe). All feature floor to ceiling windows, an en-suite bathroom, porch and are cooled either by fan and the tropical breeze (Hillside standard) or air-conditioning (all others). The Key deluxe rooms are the most spacious and dispersed along the perimeter, accessed by taxi boat.
Facilities at the resort include a swimming pool, restaurant, bar with satellite TV, and the Ixora Spa. WiFi internet access is available. Your weekly package includes a day trip to Maya Key, a private quintessential Caribbean getaway where everyone can relax or do as much as the like for the day.
There are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. During the summer there's the opportunity to join the Dolphin Summer Camp. Open for children from 5-14 years old, activities include interacting with the resident bottlenose dolphin population, snorkelling and/or diving skills and further education about the ocean and aquatic life.
The on-site PADI 5-star Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre (IDC) offers a comprehensive range of courses. The fleet of modern dive boats head out to the nearby dive sites three times a day and it's possible to shore dive in the lagoon and on 'Front Porch' reef. There's an amazing variety of marine life to be found here and 27 colourful dive sites to explore. Expect squadrons of eagle rays, schools of brightly coloured tropical fish and the occasional meandering shark. Nitrox is available.
