Unique in its style, this family friendly property features 96 rooms: a mix of deluxe twin and double rooms in a four unit chalet (some with additional attic space), two stand alone two bedroom suites and 18 luxury deluxe tents set out on wooden platforms. All room types are spacious and chic, yet simple in design. They feature air conditioning and en suite bathroom, desk and chair, TV, tea and coffee facilities and a safe. In addition, the suites feature a jacuzzi, private pool and sauna, as well as a home theatre system. The tents have a minibar and furnished verandah, with a wood cabin style bathroom to the rear, equipped with a shower and a bath.
Facilities include a choice of four restaurants, a gym, swimming pool, indoor badminton court, evening entertainment at the weekends, a spa with Ayurvedic treatments; yoga is also available on a daily basis. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available throughout the resort.
There are a variety of dining options. The main Alaka restaurant is airy and spacious, offering Sri Lankan dishes sourced from local ingredients. The Makara serves Chinese meals and the Migara is both a coffee shop and bar. Nagula is a speciality restaurant located on the verandah of the resort’s Paddy Museum and serves authentic cuisine from a traditional village kitchen.
