Undeniably the shore diving capital of the world, Bonaire is a diver’s paradise and makes for a great short break from the UK.

The entire island is designated a marine park and with 86 official dive sites to explore, you’ll be kept busy all week. The majority of the dive sites are easily accessed from the shore and are clearly marked by yellow flag stones. The best way to get around is on a ‘drive and dive’ package which includes standard pick up truck rental for the duration of your stay.

On your leisure day, there’s plenty to discover, whether it’s on the water or in one of the national parks. Windsurfing and kite-surfing are popular activities and Washington-Slagbaai National Park is rich in cultural and historical heritage as well as being the best place to spot Bonaire’s special wildlife. If you need to cool down, don’t forget to try the local ‘Lover’s’ ice-cream.
