Situated on the Baa Atoll, Reethi Beach is the perfect Maldivian retreat. Surrounded by uninhabited islands, divers can explore the area's prolific underwater life and relax on remote beaches.

The unique local architecture of this 4-star resort blends with the natural beauty of the island creating an eco-friendly environment. The resort features 128 rooms with three categories to choose from. Plus, there is a two-bedroom family suite. The 48 Reethi villas are located on the east and west side of the small island with double or twin bed set up. The 50 detached Deluxe villas have a king-size bed and overlook the lagoon. There are 30 semi-detached water villas built on stilts with direct access to the lagoon. All feature air-conditioning, semi-enclosed en-suite bathroom (enclosed in water villas), mini-bar, kettle, safe, hairdryer and satellite TV. Relax on your furnished verandah and enjoy the spectacular tropical setting. 

Facilities include five restaurants and bars, swimming pool, squash, badminton and two tennis courts, a gym, table tennis, volleyball, the Coconut spa, a water sports and a dive centre. Dine around the island during your stay – serving buffet-style meals, Rehendi is the main restaurant. Moodhu offers fine dining over the lagoon and Saima is perfect for special moments. Rasgefaanu is the main bar with an open-air deck seating area plus a games room and daily entertainment. Alifaan restaurant and Veyo bar are located poolside serving light bites and a range of tropical drinks. Enjoy a sundowner at the sunset or Handhuvaru bar and watch the moon rise at Riya. 

The resort has a small boutique and there are a wide range of excursions to sign up to during your stay including manta snorkelling at Hanifaru Bay in season. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available at reception, Rasgefaanu and Moodhu bars. 

Transfers are a 35-minute seaplane transfer from Malé, or a 20-minute domestic flight followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to Fonimagoodhoo island on which the resort is built. 

Underwater highlights include amazing biodiversity of marine life amongst the overhangs, canyons and corals. However, it's the regular sightings of manta rays and whale sharks in season that offer a memorable experience for all.

Ocean Fanatics

The Ocean Fanatics PADI 5-star dive centre is operated by an experienced local team offering numerous courses, shore and daily boat diving from their two dhonis. Blessed with a fantastic house reef, the island is suitable for snorkellers and divers of all abilities. 

There are around 30 dive sites within an hour's boat ride from the resort. They comprise thilas, outer reefs, island reefs and channels. The island is in the middle of the atoll so both sides are always accessible offering a variety of seasonal fish life. 

Highlights include encounters with a variety of marine life including eagle rays, black-tip reef and lemon sharks, stingrays, octopus, fusiliers in their hundreds, barracuda, turtles, and pods of dolphin are often seen swimming by. Seasonal day trips to Manta Point are a must for most as well as snorkelling excursions to Hanifaru Bay, both from June to November  

The dive centre uses 12-litre tanks (DIN and INT) and offer a full range of equipment and compact cameras to rent. Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
