Take in two of the Pacific’s most iconic and spectacular diving destinations with a fabulous twin centre itinerary to the islands of Yap and Palau.

Your first week is spent in Yap is the most intriguing island in Micronesia, with a unique culture and heritage, including giant stone money, grass skirts, and traditional men’s houses. Large numbers of manta rays that remain resident year-round are the big draw for divers.

Your final stop is Palau, famous for its unique Rock Islands and jellyfish lake. Many of the surrounding islands are rarely visited, and the waters are home to every imaginable species of coral and over 1,500 species of fish inhabit the rich reefs, with sharks and barracudas a common sight.

Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart the UK for the Philippines

    Flight schedule is usually via Manila, landing the following day.

  2. Day 2: Overnight in the Philippines

    On arrival, you can walk to the airport hotel for an overnight stay.
  3. Days 3-4 : Continue your journey to Yap

    Flights are typically via Guam, if you have a longer flight collection, the use of a hotel room can be provided.
  4. Day 5: Arrive Yap & transfer to your resort

    Check into the Manta Ray Bay Resort for a further seven nights and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

  5. Days 6-10 : Dive with Yap’s manta rays!

    Yap offers a whole range of diving, from drop-offs, gentle slopes and channel drifts, to the protected confines of Colonia harbour, from where most dive sites are less than 30 minutes away. Yap is also the world’s foremost destination for seeing manta rays up close and personal; nowhere else on Earth are they seen on a consistent basis year round - a fact that has catapulted Yap to the top of lists of the finest diving attractions in the world.

  6. Day 11: At leisure

  7. Days 12-13 : Fly to Guam with a day at leisure

    Experience the allure of Guam in one night, indulge in local cuisine and enjoy its vibrant nightlife. Your flight to Palau departs the following evening and flies overnight.
  8. Day 14: Fly to Palau & transfer to your resort

    Arrive and transfer to your chosen resort for a seven night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to recover from your journey and settle in.

  9. Days 15-19 : Enjoy five days of diving in Palau

    Three ocean currents converge in Palau’s waters, bringing with them some of the most varied and dazzling marine life in the world.

  10. Day 20: At leisure

    Today you have the option to book more diving, explore Palau or simply relax. Late in the evening on your second leisure day, you transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Yap, departing a little after midnight.

  11. Day 21: Depart Yap & head back to the Philippines

    Depending on your flight schedule, you will require a day room or an overnight stay in Manila on your return journey.

  12. Day 22: Depart Philippines & arrive UK

    Today you depart on your flight back to the UK, most flight schedules allow for same day arrival back to the UK.
