Take in two of the Pacific’s most iconic and spectacular diving destinations with a fabulous twin centre itinerary to the islands of Yap and Palau.

Your first week is spent in Palau, famous for its unique Rock Islands and jellyfish lake. Many of the surrounding islands are rarely visited, and the waters are home to every imaginable species of coral and over 1,500 species of fish inhabit the rich reefs, with sharks and barracudas a common sight.

Yap is the most intriguing island in Micronesia, with a unique culture and heritage, including giant stone money, grass skirts, and traditional men’s houses. Large numbers of manta rays that remain resident year-round are the big draw for divers.

Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart the UK for Palau

Flight schedule is usually via Asia.

  2. Day 2: Arrive Palau and transfer to your resort

Evening connection through to Palau.  Arrive and transfer to your chosen resort for an eight night stay. We recommend a stay at Caroline’s Resort. Other resorts are available, please enquire for details.

  3. Day 3: At leisure

Day at leisure to recover from your journey and settle in.
  4. Days 4-8 : Enjoy 5 days of diving in Palau

Three ocean currents converge in Palau’s waters, bringing with them some of the most varied and dazzling marine life in the world.

  5. Days 9-10 : At leisure

Option to book more diving, explore Palau or simply relax. Late in the evening on your second leisure day, you will transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Yap, departing a little after midnight.

  7. Days 12-16 : Dive with Yap’s manta rays!

Yap offers a whole range of diving, from drop-offs, gentle slopes and channel drifts, to the protected confines of Colonia harbour, from where most dive sites are less than 30 minutes away. Yap is also the world’s foremost destination for seeing manta rays up close and personal; nowhere else on earth are they seen on a consistent basis year round - a fact that has catapulted Yap to the top of lists of the finest diving attractions in the world.

  8. Day 17: At leisure

  9. Day 18: Depart Yap for Asia via Guam

Depending on your flight schedule, you will require a day room or an overnight stay in Asia on your return journey.
