Learn to dive on Malta throughout the year, no matter your age. The Mediterranean island of Malta offers excellent training in the sea for divers of all abilities in small groups. Experience the underwater world from as young as ten years old. Spend a week in Malta completing your PADI Open Water Course and getting those first dives as a qualified diver under your belt.
Our Dive team are all qualified divers and will talk you through the steps of learning to dive. You will need to complete some theory work online before your holiday and complete the practical sessions in the sea with the instructors in Malta. Try something new, it's an incredible experience for all ages and once qualified, gives you the opportunity to dive around the world.
Suggested Itinerary
Day1: Fly to Malta
You'll be met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation for a week long stay. We recommend the Sands Apartments or the Dolmen Hotel.
Days2-4: Learn to dive in Malta
Upon booking your diving course you will be sent an access code to begin the theory side of the PADI Open Water Diver Course by eLearning. On your first day in Malta you will check in with the dive centre, review your theory and complete the practical side of your diving course over the next three days, completing your qualification by diving in the sea.
You will need to pay for your manuals and certification fee locally. The dive centre is affiliated with PADI and BSAC.
Days5-7: Discover Malta and Gozo
Once qualified you can continue diving in Malta and Gozo (booked and paid for locally) or spend time on land discovering the islands. The choice is yours.
Day8: Return to the UK
Today you'll be transferred back to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
