Malta offers excellent value for money and, with year round sunshine, excellent visibility and calm waters, it is a great place to learn to dive.

The main island is accessible year round and offers excellent training in the sea for divers of all abilities in small groups. Experience the underwater world from as young as ten years old. 

Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Fly to Malta

    You'll be met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation for a week long stay. We recommend the Sands Apartments or the Dolmen Hotel.

  2. Days 2-5 : Learn to dive in Malta

    This morning you will check in with the dive centre and begin your diving course. the course takes up to four days and is a mix of classroom, pool and open water diving in the sea to complete your qualification. 

    You will need to pay for your manuals and certification fee locally. The dive centre is affiliated with PADI and BSAC.

  3. Days 6-7 : Discover Malta and Gozo

    Once qualified you can continue diving in Malta and Gozo (booked and paid for locally) or spend time on land discovering the islands. The choice is yours.
  4. Day 8: Return to the UK

    Today you'll be transferred back to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

You should note: Certification fees paid locally. Choose from a range of BSAC and PADI courses. It's possible to learn on Gozo if you prefer. Contact our Dive team to find out more.

Sands Apartments

Located in the village of St.Paul’s Bay to the north of Malta, these self catering apartments are a comfortable and affordable choice for divers, and are only a few minutes’ walk to the dive centre.

Atlantis Lodge

Conveniently located next door to the dive centre in Marsalforn Bay, Atlantis Lodge caters exclusively for divers. The small property is an ideal choice for those wanting to discover Gozo.
