Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart the UK

    Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Jakarta, followed by a second overnight flight to Ambon.
  2. Day 2: Overnight stay in Jakarta

  3. Day 3: Arrive Ambon, Indonesia

    You will be met at the airport and transferred to your resort. Check in for a five night stay. Rest of day at leisure.

  4. Days 4-6 : Dive Ambon in search of critters and more

    Your pre-booked dive pack begins today and offers the opportunity to discover some of the best reef sites of Haruku Island and sea mounts of Baguala Bay plus Ambon Bay, home to a wealth of critters. Prepare to be amazed at the incredible underwater life found here.

  5. Day 7: Relax in resort

    Take time to relax and enjoy your time in resort or explore the region.

  6. Day 8: Fly to Sorong, West Papua

    Transfer to the airport this afternoon for your flight to Sorong and then onward transfer by speed boat to the resort. Check in for a seven night stay with rest of day at leisure.

  7. Days 9-13 : Dive Raja Ampat

    This morning, begin your pre-booked dive package. Exploring the dive sites around Birie Island, expect encounters with mantas, sharks and, if you’re lucky, dugong. Located at the epicentre of the Coral Triangle, the waters in this area offer a truly magnificent marine biodiversity, with over 1,300 fish species and 75% of the world’s corals on show.
  8. Day 14: Relax in resort

    Enjoy your last day here by either relaxing in resort or organising a local excursion.

  9. Days 15-16 : Transfer to Sorong & depart Indonesia

    Today you will be transferred to Sorong to start your journey back to the UK, flying overnight you’ll land the next day.

Please note: Alternatively divers can visit Lembeh Strait and Raja Ampat for a similar marine life experience to the above.
