Tailor-made Honduras
Culturally and geographically distinct from the rest of Central America, mainland Honduras has plenty to offer, from Mayan Ruins to bird watching, jungle walks to white water rafting. The Bay Islands lie 48 kilometres offshore, Roatan, the largest, is 48 kilometres long and no more than four kilometres wide, whilst Utila, the smallest island, is just 41 square kilometres. The islands have much to offer both divers and non-divers. The chance of an unforgettable Whale Shark encounter can be enjoyed from January to April. Divers can see typical Caribbean species in this area including turtles, rays, sharks and eels, plus pods of dolphins and whales.
