Puerto Aventuras is a small resort located 45 minutes south of Cancun and is a perfect base for ocean and Cenotes diving and snorkelling experiences.

This community based tropical resort, with an easy going atmosphere, has all the attractions of a larger resort in the quiet setting of a small town, without the crowds. The white sand beaches and shallow waters of Fatima Bay and Chac Hal Al beach are great for water sports enthusiasts. The resort offers plenty of local shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés along the marina.

Learn to dive in the calm clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, protected by the barrier reef. Expect to encounter hawksbill turtles, eagle rays, lobster and plenty of reef fish. For those seeking a unique diving experience, the Cenotes are a safe and interesting underwater cave system to explore, even if you are new to diving.

During the summer months it’s possible to take day trips to Holbox Island for an amazing snorkelling encounter with whale sharks.
