Enjoy a slower pace of life on the charming island Gozo, where you’ll find rugged landscapes, spectacular coastlines and unique dive sites, such as the Blue Hole and Cathedral Cave.

Inland Sea is a unique dive site connecting divers to the open sea through an 80 metre long tunnel with breathtaking views of the blue as you swim through at a maximum depth of 25 metres. On the outside, divers will enjoy exploring the marine life on the walls that drop off to over 50 metres.

The blue hole is a signature dive on Gozo. Entry to the sheltered site is a walk over the moonscape of limestone. Upon entering, proceed through a giant archway and follow the wall towards where the Azure Window collapsed; an interesting area with large boulders of all shapes and sizes. Underwater you will find grouper, dentex and amberjacks hunting for sardines.

The dive site of Cathedral Cave begins in Ghasri Valley, a spectacular narrow gorge which widens as it reaches the sea. Best dived in the afternoon as the sunlight shines upon it, dive in and slowly ascend between large boulders to surface in the cave in the magical blue water.

The clear blue sea offers fantastic visibility which lends itself to making this a great underwater photographer's playground. A seasonal destination, the best time to visit is Apr-Oct.

Topside there’s plenty to keep you occupied, from medieval citadels to the small streets of the capital, Victoria. Gozo is reached by a 30 minute ferry from Malta.
