The Okeanos Aggressor II is a 36-metre steel mono hull liveaboard, operating ten night itineraries throughout the year to the amazing Cocos Island, a trip of a lifetime for most.
The Okeanos Aggressor II accommodates 22 passengers in nine well appointed staterooms and two suites, each air-conditioned with en-suite facilities. She also features all the standard facilities of the luxurious Aggressor Fleet and has plenty of areas to relax and hang out in between dives. When not diving, you can gather at the wet bar on the lido deck, sunbathe or just relax on sun deck or cool off in the comfortable, air-conditioned salon.
Up to three dives a day are scheduled and all operated from the pangas, capable of carrying 11 divers plus crew. The boat is equipped with 12L tanks (Yoke) and, with enough notice it’s possible to rent a 15L tank. Nitrox is available for a surcharge. It is recommended that you travel with a spare kit and safety equipment, however all divers will be provided with a GPS locator that operates through satellite in case of an emergency during the trip.
Cocos is the only island in the Tropical Eastern Pacific with a rainforest. Its position as the first point of contact with the northern equatorial counter-current and the myriad interactions between the island and the surrounding marine ecosystem, make the area an ideal laboratory for the study and observation of life both above and below the surface. This coveted drift diving destination delivers you to one of the most concentrated large animal marine encounters in the world. The convergence of multiple ocean currents brings in massive schools of hammerhead sharks, tuna, jacks and more. Passing dolphins, whale sharks and manta rays are sighted as well as an occasional sailfish.
