Explore remote and spectacular reefs with plenty of marine life from the M/Y Amba, the only vessel currently operating in the northern atolls of the Maldives.
Operating unique and exclusive itineraries in the northernmost atolls of the Maldives, this luxurious and modern 33 metre long vessel is suited to experienced divers who want to get away from the crowds.
Accommodating 20 guests, there are nine cabins and one suite on board; all feature air-conditioning and en-suite facilities. Facilities include a comfortable saloon, sundeck and bar. The experienced staff and crew offer exceptional customer service and speak English, German and Italian on board.
Pioneering itineraries explore the Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu atolls, areas away from mass tourism with plenty of adventure and a genuine feeling of escapism. Underwater highlights include pristine corals, manta rays, sharks, an abundance of marine life and some wrecks to explore. The trips are recommended for experienced divers due to the remote location and strong currents.
The boat is accompanied by a dive dhoni and speed boat during the week long trips which include up to 18 dives. Nitrox is available, but divers must bring their own kit as there is no equipment rental available.
Payment on board is in cash only. Trips depart on Sunday throughout the year and a domestic flight (30 minutes) is required to reach the boat, which departs from Hanimaadhoo.
