The Carpe Vita liveaboard offers unique itineraries throughout the year based on the best pelagic migration patterns around the central atolls in the Maldives.

Launched in 2011, this luxurious liveaboard accommodates up to 20 passengers in ten well appointed cabins, each with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and ample storage space.

The wooden hull safari yacht is 38 metres in length and is accompanied by a custom built 20m long diving dhoni. She features large hotel-style staterooms, a jacuzzi and unmatched open-air comfort. The main deck features an indoor salon/restaurant that includes an inviting lounge and large flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, sound system, sitting/library area including a buffet table and refrigerators. Just forward of the salon area there is an outdoor shaded sitting area complete with comfortable cushioned benches, a peaceful place where you can sip your afternoon tea while the vessel is cruising and take in the beautiful colours of the Indian Ocean.

The main deck also includes a dive equipment rental/storage area and the swim platform at the back of the main deck (with two fresh water showers). There is also a specialised camera table in the outdoor area and a power charging station at the entrance.

The Carpe Vita Explorer offers ten and seven night itineraries which change depending on the season. Each offers a unique dive itinerary based on the seasons, as well as current and pelagic migration patterns. Up to four dives a day are offered on each itinerary. Atolls visited include the North and South Malé, Baa and Raa and Ari.
