Turneffe Atoll

Turneffe Flats is located on the Turneffe Atoll, noted for it's diverse marine life. The Atoll is approximately 48 kilometres in length and 16 kilometres wide. By itself, Turneffe offers as much diving area as Grand Cayman, Cozumel, or Bonaire, with approximately 80 logged dive sites on the Turneffe Atoll alone. A typical day includes two dives in the morning and a third in the afternoon. Your week at Turneffe Flats will include a trip to Lighthouse Reef where you will dive the famous Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye Wall. At least one night dive is also included and shore diving is available.

There is such a diversity and versatility of diving available on the Turneffe Atoll that it is difficult to do justice to all the options. You are almost certain to see Sting, and Eagle Rays, Green, and Hawksbill Turtles, Moray Eels, dolphins, several varieties of sharks, and large schools of snapper, and jacks. If you are lucky, you may also have the opportunity to dive with Whale Sharks.

Spacious, air-conditioned, en-suite guest rooms are all located on the beach, with panoramic views from your covered verandah, and three meals each day, served family style in the main lodge.

There is plenty for the non-diver with superb snorkelling, Manatee and dolphin tours, kayaking and walking tours to discover the unique ecosystems.
