Timbavati Safari Kings Camp

Kings Camp is deep in the 680 sq. kilometres of Timbavati Private Game Reserve. Established in 1956, the unfenced Reserve runs alongside the Kruger and offers an amazing array of animal and bird life. The park is a game-viewing paradise and home to the 'Big Five' and 147 other mammals, including impala, kudu, cheetah, warthog, and monkeys. Historically, the reserve has been home to the 'white' Lion. Although there are none currently in the reserve, the recessive gene responsible for the unusual colouring is still carried in the park's prides. A maximum of twenty guests are accommodated in two luxury bungalows and eight luxury suites, all air-conditioned and thatched with mosquito nets, safes and mini-bar. A viewing deck, overlooking open savannah and a watering hole, allows guests to relax in the stillness and serenity of the bush, whilst still spotting game.
