The Corn Islands of Nicaragua

Day 1. Fly to Managua

On arrival transfer to Brands Hotel, where you will overnight

Day 2. Fly from Managua to Great Corn Island [B]

Transfer to the Arenas Hotel and enjoy two boat dives in the afternoon.

The Corn Islands are surrounded by a barrier reef system which is a unique underwater ecosystem for snorkelling and scuba diving. Whether snorkelling from the beach or on a dive you can expect to see a wide variety of corals, sponges, tropical fish, rays, schools of snapper, turtles and even dolphins. Experienced divers should not miss the famous 'Blowing Rock' which is a rock/coral formation teaming with marine life, which climbs from the sea fl oor, 40 metres below, until it pierces the ocean surface. Divers see a mix of tropical fish as well as larger offshore species including barracuda, mackerel, jacks, pompano & shark.

Hotel Arenas Beach is located on the South end of Great Corn Island on one of the most tranquil and pristine beaches on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. The comfortable facilities are located just steps away from the ocean, creating an ideal atmosphere for relaxing. The restaurant and bar offer both gourmet and casual cuisine.

Day 3 to 6. Enjoy two boat dives around the island per day [B]

Day 7. Fly back to Managua [B]

Overnight at Brands Hotel

Day 8 & 9. Homeward
