Cod Hole, Coral Sea & Northern Reefs Liveaboard [FB]

TAKA is a 30-metre purpose built dive boat designed to visit remote dive sites along the Great Barrier Reef in maximum comfort. This hi-tech vessel is very spacious, modern and comfortable. Features include a unique stabilised hull designed to smooth out those Coral Sea trips, large lounges and air-conditioned, en-suite cabins, luxury fittings and the latest in on-board digital imaging, viewing and editing. Thirty passengers are accommodated in eleven cabins; comprising, one stateroom, five double or twin en-suite cabins, one standard twin cabin and four quad share cabins. There is a large dive deck with plenty of room for storage, and a sun deck on which you can relax between dives. Taka offers a four day trip departing Tuesdays and a five day trip departing Fridays. If time permits, we recommend the fuller Friday excursion, which visits the Cod Hole and the Ribbon Reefs, one of the best areas on the entire Great Barrier Reef, usually with amazing visibility, and also gives a full day diving the Coral Sea, at spectacular Osprey Reef which is excellent for shark action and other awesome marine life.
