The Tongan Beach Resort Vava'u
The Tongan Beach Resort Vava'u offers world-class diving, whale watching, fishing, secluded beaches, translucent water and peaceful surroundings.

Accommodation is in twelve, recently refurbished rooms, only metres from the waters edge and with views of the beach and the crystal clear, turquoise waters of the Port of Refuge harbour. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, fridges and tea/coffee making facilities.

The diving in Vava'u is spectacular and diverse, visibilitiy averages 30 metres and the water is warm water all year round. There are untouched hard corals, and soft coral gardens in myriad colours, plus one of the best Gorgonia fan dives in the South Pacific. Add this to unique caves, underwater archways and the 122 metre wreck of the Clan McWilliam, which sank over 50 years ago and sits upright and still intact, and the opportunity to see, and possibly swim with, migrating Humpback Whales and you can look forward to the holiday of a lifetime!
Fafa Island Resort
You will have your first taste of Tongatapu, upon arrival into Tongatapu's International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to Faua Wharf for a 30 minute boat transfer to beautiful Fafa Island. Fafa Island Resort is located on the north side of a seven hectare palm covered island, the rest of the island being intact in its natural beauty and can be explored by bush trail. The island is protected by a coral reef, which ensures safe snorkelling and swimming in crystal clear waters. Accomodation is in superior or deluxe fales each with ceiling fans and a shower in a private flower garden. With just 13 natural fales accommodating visitors to the resort, you can relax, undisturbed, on deserted beaches.
Black Pearl Suites
The Black Pearl Suites offer luxury Americanstyle holiday & business accommodation with a Polynesian influence. All suites feature air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom, and all have a balcony. During the day you can enjoy the tropical ambience with ocean views over un-crowded beaches, whilst at night the restaurant offers an a la carte menu and a lively atmosphere.
Ali Baba's Guest House
This comfortable, family owned guest house has a range of simple, modern rooms offering affordable accommodation, with TV and fridge. There is a Caf??- Restaurant, communal lounge with satellite TV/DVD/Video and Internet access and a balcony and verandah on which you can relax and soak up the sun. From this base you can enjoy a number of activities - explore the island's historical sites, the blow holes and Anahulu caves, swim or snorkel off some of Tonga's best beaches or take a ferry to visit some of the islands off-shore.
Reef Resort
Reef Resort is located on Kapa Island in the beautiful Vava'u island group, in the Kingdom of Tonga. The resort offers luxury detached accommodation in a tranquil island setting. All bungalows have their own private deck with sea views and are equipped with air conditioning, hot water, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The beachside restaurant and bar offers local and international food and drinks and the best snorkelling spot in Vava'u, the Japanese Gardens, is just metres from the beach.
Mounu Island Resort
The southern most inhabited island in the Vava'u Archipelago, the Mounu Island Resort is a tranquil oasis where you can discover Tonga's beautiful white coral beaches fringed by spectacular coral reefs in a completely private setting. Run as an eco resort the Mounu Island offers four traditional and beautiful Tongan fales, all boasting spectacular, private beach views and the opportunity to watch whales from your accommodation! Each fale is on the beach and completely private from the other fales. The resort utilises solar panels to supply power and adapters are available so that cameras/phones can be charged. There is a restaurant and bar, office and well stocked library. Mounu in Tongan means 'bait fish,' and huge shoals of sardines school in the shallow waters around the Island. During the summer months turtles nest on the Island and the Humpback whales inhabit the waters from July to November.
