Day 1. Ovenight to Malindi, via Nairobi.

Day 2 - 9. Transfer to the Turtle Bay Beach Club at Watamu [AI]

Voted amongst the top five beaches in the world, the Club is adjacent to one of the world's least spoilt underwater reserves, and Africa's first marine park: Watamu National Marine Park.

The club has 145 rooms, all en-suite and with fans and air-conditioning, set amongst four hectares of tropically landscaped gardens and is all-inclusive (including: all meals, domestic drinks, entertainments, and supervised Kids Club) with friendly staff on hand. The PADI dive centre is within the hotel grounds, has immediate beach access to Watamu Marine Park, and is professionally run with dive groups of four divers per guide, to ensure the highest level of safety.

There are twenty prime dive sites, within 10-35 minutes of the dive school, at depths between 10-30 metres and night dives are offered, depending upon weather and tide. Fishing is not allowed in the park and it is a safe haven and breeding ground for numerous species, over 1000 species of fish have been identified, expect to encounter Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, dolphins and turtles. Over 100 species of hard coral are present, including Mushroom Coral, but relatively few soft corals due to a combination of wave action and turbulence in the shallow water. Surgeonfish, parrotfish, angelfish, snappers and many others offer a fabulous display of variety and colour. The best diving is between late October and mid-April and diving at the outer reef is not guaranteed between June and October, due to weather conditions

Days 9 & 10. Homeward [B (Day 9 only)]

Fly from Malindi, arrive home the next morning.
