M.V. Philkade Liveaboard
A 29 metre luxury liveaboard launched in 2002, the M.V Philkade has been specifically designed to combine 5-star luxury with exceptional diving. Up to 13 guests are accommodated in six spacious, and versatile, air-conditioned cabins. Accommodation is in three superior double-bed, en-suite cabins, one standard three-bed cabin and one standard double cabin, sharing a bathroom, and a deluxe cabin, with king-size bed - and enjoying, amongst its amenities, TV and home theatre, large bathroom and a panoramic ocean view. M.V. Philkade has three main decks and an upper fly bridge. The saloon and dining room cover 70 square metres, with TV and home theatre, and bar. There is an onboard computer, dedicated to the viewing of digital photos and video, and a large sun bathing area on the upper deck, with an opportunity to dine al fresco on the large aft deck.
Diving safaris are carefully planned to allow a limited number of divers to enjoy exceptional diving experiences in these world-renowned clear blue waters, away from the usual crowds. The crew is highly trained, with multi-lingual dive masters and instructors, ensuring that the spectacular underwater experiences awaiting divers are matched topside.
Departing Phuket, M.V.Philkade offers itineraries cruising Thailand's Similan and Surin Islands, including Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and world famous Richelieu Rock with a variety of departures from 4 days/4 nights to 6 days/7 nights amongst Thailand's best diving destinations, or 9days/10nights cruises giving guests the opportunity to explore the richly diverse waters of the Andaman Sea from Phuket, through the Similan and Surin Islands and up to the Megui Archipelago. The boat can be chartered to customise an itinerary to the stunning southern areas of Phi Phi and beyond.
This is a luxurious way to explore the Komodo and Rinca Islands, the largest of 80 islands lying between the western island of Sumbawa and the eastern island of Flores, and part of the Komodo National Park. Declared a man and biosphere reserve and a World Heritage Site in 1986, the park is famous for its Komodo Dragons and its outstanding dive sites. The park combines two distinct marine habitats - temperate and tropical and offers divers amazing underwater life with over a thousand species of fish and marine mammals.
