- Situated on Grenada's south coast, Monmot Hotel is a unique Intimate Boutique Hotel, offering the comfort and convenience of a small hotel in a quiet location. Only a three minute walk to Prickly Bay (Lanse Aux Epines) beach and next to the Calabash Hotel. This great little twenty room hotel opened in July 2004, with rooms surrounding a pretty pool and courtyard. Gaths restaurant and bar serves local favourites such as conch fritters and spicy rotis. The rooms, each named after a tropical bird, are attractive, and the staff are very friendly. There is free wireless Internet access.
All standard rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, cable TV, safe, bath, shower and hairdryer. Studios have a pull-down double bed, kitchenette and balcony or terrace with pool view, sleeping a maximum of two adults.
Aquanauts 5-Star Gold Palm Dive Centre picks up twice daily from the hotel for a short drive to the shop and jetty.
