Manta Lodge is located at Tobago's north-eastern corner, in the sleepy fishing village of Speyside. Nestled on the fringe of the Montane Rainforest, and just across the road from the beach, all 22 rooms feature private verandahs with breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views and a choice of ceiling fan or air-conditioning. Lodge facilities include the Green Moray Bar and Restaurant, a full service dive shop, freshwater swimming pool, hiking trails, beach towels and lots of room to relax!

Tobago Dive Experience is Manta Lodge's own full service dive operation that offers PADI courses and the full range of BSAC certifications. Here you can complete your BSAC training in the beautiful seas and coral reefs of Tobago, rather than a cold British harbour or quarry.

Manta Lodge is ideal for families with children: there is a babysitting facility, children's courses and excursions, snorkelling and a full range of diving programmes and fun inshore fishing for children.

Tobago Dive Experience

Tobago Dive Experience is Manta Lodge's in-house dive operation. Conveniently located, they offer daily dive charters, PADI, BSAC and NAUI instruction, dive equipment sales, equipment service and rental. They have scheduled departures at 9:00am, 11:30am, and 2:00pm, with the boats leaving from Speyside jetty. Most dive sites are located within a five to 20 minute boat trip. There are a large number of beautiful reefs in Tobago, located in and around Goat Island and Little Tobago. Ask to go to 'Japanese Gardens', a relaxing dive, with the most beautiful short corals in every colour imaginable, and thousands of different types of fish. Go to 'Kelliston Drain' and see one of the largest Brain Corals in the world. If large fish and shark are what you are looking for, then maybe 'Shark Bank' or 'Bookends' are the dives for you. Tobago Dive Experience also has a centre in the south of the island so why not consider a two centre holiday.
