Les Lauriers Hotel, with its six rooms and self-catering bungalows, is a small family-run hotel 150 metres from the beach at Anse Volbert and close to the Octopus Diving Centre. Rooms have their own verandah, ceiling fans, shower and coffee maker. There is a very good restaurant and bar, which is often frequented by the locals.

- Based at Anse Volbert on Praslin, Octopus Diving Centre offers half and full-day excursions on its three boats and two speed boats. The dive centre is also able to offer excursions that cater for divers and non-divers; by combining diving with visits to nearby islands where guests can snorkel and enjoy delicious barbeques, divers and non-divers can enjoy a day together.
