La Reserve is situated on Anse Petit Cour, in a Marine National Park, with its own exclusive beach flanked by statuesque giant boulders with sparkling blue waters protected by the offshore reef. Accommodation is in eight superior or 32 deluxe rooms.

Superior rooms are located in two colonial style buildings, one on the beach and one on the hillside, and have terraces with deckchairs, mini-bar, IDD telephone and Satellite TV. Deluxe rooms are located on the beach and offer a king-size bed, lounge and sofa armchairs. Both styles of room are air-conditioned. Hotel dining is varied; the Jetty restaurant overlooks the bay and offers international and Creole dishes, whilst the more casual Pool restaurant offers fresh fish, grilled meat or salads. William's Pool Bar is surrounded by coconut palms and the largest swimming pool on the islands and offers a lounge area and refreshing fruit or alcoholic cocktails. The fabulous pool also incorporates a children's pool, an area designed for the elderly and an area for those who wish to swim lengths.

The hotel offers complimentary excursions daily, including a visit to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, sundown and snorkelling cruises, plus excursions to neighbouring islands, such as Coco and Sister Islands. The dive centre is just five minutes from the hotel and PADI qualified instructors offer daily lessons either for PADI certification or just for fun dives.
