Within easy reach of the mainland of Southern Thailand and accessible by high speed boats, lies the beautiful island of Koh Tao. From the moment that you set foot on the ferry pier, you feel the charm of this small desert island. The island has accommodation to suit all tastes, from budget to fabulous beach bungalows.

The weather on Koh Tao is generally very agreeable, average temperature of 25C in the cool season (from November to February) to highs of 35C plus, in the hot dry season (from March to June). Although humid at times, the heat is never oppressive, as the island is cooled by the gentle sea breezes from The Gulf of Thailand.

The diving around Koh Tao is diverse and plentiful with a considerable number of dive sites to suit both beginners and experienced divers alike.

The Ko Tao Resort is one of the few hotels on Koh Tao that welcomes non-divers and families with an excellent beach and good facilities. Nestled absolute beachfront on lovely Chalok Baan Kao Beach, the Resort features a variety of room and bungalow types. All the rooms are set in landscaped gardens, either directly behind the beach or a short walk away. The Deluxe Rooms are all ensuite and equipped with cable television, mini-bar and air-conditioning.
