The Devil Island (Goubet Al-Kharab), a place of legends of mythical demons and monsters, offers the chance to see Manta Rays, Murenas and White-pointed Sharks in large numbers. Practically every species of dolphin can be found in Djibouti's waters as well as predators such as giant barracudas, sharks, pompanos and large numbers of huge Whale Sharks, from October until January.
