The Kariwak is an intimate 24 room Tobago hotel based in the heart of Crown Point, with an unmistakeable Caribbean ambience. It features wholesome cuisine using its own home-grown herbs in the restaurant, and holistic holiday activities - yoga, massage and Tai Chi. The pool, jacuzzi and rooms are surrounded by an award winning tropical garden. Although not on the beach there are three within a short walk.
The spacious rooms have a decidedly tropical feel with furnishings fashioned from indiginous materials. All rooms are ensuite, air-conditioned with their own terrace opening either on to the pool or gardens.
Kariwak is only a 5 minute drive from two of Dive Worldwide's preferred dive centres both of which can offer a selection of dive options, courses and equipment. The English run R and Sea Dive Company.- R & Sea Divers
- R & Sea's dive operation is located at Toucan Inn, in the Crown Point/Pigeon Point area of the island. R & Sea's offers the full range of PADI courses from Open Water to Divemaster and there is also a Discover Scuba Diving programme, a fun and easy introduction to diving. Daily dive trips depart from the popular Pigeon Point beach, with a number of sites just a short boat ride from the centre, including Flying Reef, Cove Crack and The Shallows. Further north are two of Tobago's most popular sites: Mount Irvine Wall and the wreck, MV Maverick. Trips to The Sisters and Speyside can be arranged on request. Tobago's diving has something for everyone and its nutrient rich waters attract healthy coral and numerous species of fish - you can expect to dive with Creole Wrasse, Bermuda Chub and multi-coloured corals.
