Isla Guadalupe - Great White Shark Heaven

Day 1. Fly UK to San Diego

Overnight in a central hotel.

Days 2 to 4. Isla Guadalupe Liveaboard [FB]

Leave San Diego early morning for Guadalupe, around twenty hours. The Ocean Odyssey is a state of the art 26-metre by 7.5-metre long range diving and tuna fishing boat - the most spacious cage diving and sport fishing vessel in her class, taking a maximum of sixteen divers per trip. Recently refitted, the Odyssey boasts a 'built in' low pressure air system for the divers. Two heads and three showers (one on deck) plus 2,200 litre water makers ensure hot showers for all after a long day.

By eight the next morning, you are at Guadalupe, where shark cages are deployed and the fun begins. Cage diving rotations are usually one hour at a time. For the next few days the location will depend on the 'sharkyness' of the site. The photographers will be focused on getting the best shots. The shark fan will now be able to accurately measure, sex and identify each new shark. The two 4-diver cages are built to maximize safety and comfort with excellent viewing and photography characteristics, providing you with total freedom of movement and 360 degree panoramic visibility. You will appreciate the use of surface supplied air, allowing you to be comfortable and secure during your dives.

Days 5 to 6. Head back to San Diego [FB (Day 5 only), B, L (Day 6 only)]

It is time to start heading back to San Diego, arriving back on day 6 at approximately 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Overnight San Diego.

Days 7 & 8. Homeward.
