- Day 4. Fly to the Tari Valley and Ambua Lodge, 3-nights [LD]
- The Tari Valley - home of the Huli, a colourful and proud people still largely living the same way that their ancestors did. Ambua Lodge is high on the slopes of the Tari Valley, with magnificent views of the valley below and surrounding peaks.
- Day 7. Fly to Karawari airstrip and by boat to the lodge, 2-nights [B, L, D]
- Day 9. Perched high on Mount Kutu is Rondon Ridge, 2-nights [B, L, D]
- The Mount Hagen area is the home of the Melpa people, a people with a strong culture, who in the face of westernisation, still live largely traditional subsistence lifestyles.
- Day 10. Depart Mount Hagen to UK via Port Moresby & Singapore [B]
